A leading company in the CPG sector is seeking a Business Development Manager for Alternative Channels to manage key partnerships and drive sales initiatives. This remote role involves strategic planning and executing to meet sales goals, while requiring strong data-analysis capabilities and collaborative skills. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, at least 3 years of sales experience in the CPG industry, and be prepared for regional travel.
The Business Development Manager - Alternative Channels will directly manage and grow strategic partnerships with multiple accounts (alternative and specialty channels of trade) for their assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed market share goals, sales targets, and related KPIs for assigned accounts. As a Business Development Manager, you will develop strong relationships with assigned retail customers, develop accurate sales forecasts, create annual and joint business plans, and use data to maximize business for HARIBO of America and the assigned accounts/customers/territory.
This is a remote, field-based position that requires up to 40% travel across the United States, with overnight stays. The Business Development Manager - Alternative Channels position requires at least three (3) or more years of strategic sales and business development experience specifically within the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Additionally, prior experience partnering with Brokers, experience with headquarters calls, and a Bachelor's Degree are required.

Compensation:
Target salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually. Compensation will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
