Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive growth and manage client relationships across Greenville, Charlotte, and Greensboro. The primary objective of this role is to engage with land developers and senior living facility managers to secure repeat, account based business opportunities for the construction of their projects, including amenity centers, swimming pools, monumentation, and senior living facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales and business development plan to grow our presence in the land development and national home builder markets.
  • Identify, engage, and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national home builders, land developers, and key decision-makers.
  • Drive revenue growth by securing new projects and expanding our footprint in targeted markets.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to construct amenity centers, swimming pools, monumentation, and senior living facilities.
  • Serve as the primary account manager, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with estimating, project management, and leadership teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to drive a competitive edge.
  • Represent Roby Commercial Construction at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Active membership in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in all markets is a must, ensuring strong industry presence and relationship-building opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of B2B sales experience in the construction industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Existing relationships with national home builders is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within the Greenville, Charlotte, and Greensboro regions as needed.
