SUMMARY: Groundfloor is creating a new category of individual real estate investments - accessible to everyone.

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to join our Originations Team. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The role involves Retail and Broker Originations, cultivating, developing, and growing strong and sustainable customer relationships, and training our customers on our products, processes, and services. This position is crucial for Groundfloor's business growth.

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Conduct sales calls to prospective customers, introduce Groundfloor, develop profiles, provide value propositions, and document results in the CRM
  • Understand and serve as the main resource regarding Groundfloor products, policies, and underwriting
  • Travel for conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Be the main contact throughout the loan process for customers and Groundfloor
  • Train and communicate our products and processes to customers
  • Close loans from leads provided and self-generated
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Manage a dynamic pipeline and organize activities using the CRM
  • Participate in local industry organizations to expand the network of market influencers
Requirements:

YOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE-TO-HAVES:

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • Real estate experience is a plus
