The Opportunity ...

As the Business Development Manager, you will report the Director of Sales in our Diversity, Food and Health, North America division. You will focus on increasing our new equipment sales, for the food processing industry.

On a given day, you may:

  • Create new leads / opportunities by following up with potential new customers (e.g.,previously lost orders, first-time introduction)
  • Manage opportunity pipeline
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process and lead coordination with all involved stakeholders
  • Define scope, budget, time-linejointly with JBT Marel stakeholders
  • Preparation and negotiation of quote until contract closure

Requirements for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. marketing, business) or equivalent work experience,
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, customer service or account management,
  • Experience in Capital Equipment sales in food industry,
  • Experience in food processing or industrial goods manufacturing, preferred.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Travel & Location

  • You will be fully remote. You travel approximately 25% -50% of the time.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $110,000.00 to $125,000 + 40% variable incentive pay. Compensation is determined on experience and skill.
