The Sales Development Manager will work closely with the business team and is responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in North America to achieve sustainable growth in the food ingredient line. This role will also focus on promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and partners through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss commercial opportunities in full autonomy
Identify, investigate and follow up on qualified leads and develop business relationship for potential customers in key market areas
Maintain and continuously improve understanding of products, applications and markets. Share the insight and knowledge with internal team to optimize product development
Identify customer pain points and propose innovative solutions. Leverage and coordinate with internal resources to meet customer requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above and minimum 5 years of relevant selling experience in food ingredients, food & beverage, sweetener or flavor ingredient industry
Hunter mindset, motivated and positive attitude
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
High level of autonomy and the ability to work independently
Proven success in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels with internal and external customers
Elaborate strong approach to meet business goals and provide methodology to mitigate commercial risk
Working Conditions:
Remote working with travel required up to 50% in North America
