The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying, securing, and expanding new business opportunities within existing and prospecting clients for Randstad's Professional Talent Solutions Division with a focus on the Banking, Office and Administration Industry. The BDM accomplishes this by using professional, consultative, and proactive sales strategies, including referrals, social media, networking, and cold-calling. They maintain strong client relationships, stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity, and collaborate with upper management to develop and respond to new business opportunities.
Additionally, the BDM creates and executes short and long-term sales strategies, including detailed account plans and new account targets, within their assigned territory. They possess a deep understanding of their clients' internal operations and the ability to anticipate market changes and leverage them into new business opportunities. The BDM also ensures accurate client information and activity tracking within company systems and performs other duties as necessary to advance the sales process.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
