About the Firm:

This role is available remotely in New York or Washington D.C.

Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the firm’s growth by leading business development initiatives, securing new clients, and fostering relationships within targeted industries. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape the business development strategy from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on generating revenue and leveraging a network of clients and industry contacts. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Leverage existing industry connections and actively seek new relationships to build a robust client pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with the firm’s partners to align business development efforts with strategic goals.
  • Identify potential clients' legal needs and position the firm as the preferred legal partner in relevant industries.
  • Lead efforts to secure high-value clients by conducting market research, developing pitches, and negotiating engagement terms.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote its services.

Qualifications:
