About The Client

Our client is an international, rapidly developing payment service provider (PSP) with a strong presence in emerging and established markets. They focus on delivering tailored payment solutions to high-risk and niche industries, ensuring seamless integration and compliance across multiple regions.

Role Overview

As the Business Development Lead, you will spearhead the growth and optimization of payment partnerships across key global regions. Your role will encompass market research, negotiation of commercial terms, overseeing integrations, and managing ongoing partner relationships to ensure efficient payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research on payment methods specific to targeted industries and regions.
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with payment providers, acquirers, and alternative payment methods.
  • Analyze and negotiate commercial terms to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Oversee technical integrations in collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of partners.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners, providing ongoing support and performance reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze transaction flows to identify and resolve issues related to payment processing.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2+ business development professionals, fostering a proactive and results-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development within the payments or fintech industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team of 2 or more members.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing payment partnerships across multiple regions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and payment performance metrics.
  • Fluency in Russian and English is essential.
