Job summary

Vaulted Deep in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead sourcing and securing organic waste streams for our Great Plains facility. You will own regional waste sourcing strategy, build a strong feedstock pipeline, and ensure operational readiness across cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate sampling, qualify feedstock, and monitor market dynamics while reporting progress and KPIs to leadership.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in business development, commercial operations, or field-based roles.
Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close supply or commercial agreements.
Strong organizational and multi-opportunity management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of organic waste streams with strong Carbon Removal Unit (CRU) ratio and sufficient volumes to support facility operations.
Monitor regional market dynamics, including regulatory developments and community sentiment.
Coordinate organic waste sampling and maintain an up-to-date database of qualified feedstock.
Visit offsite locations to monitor daily operations and address issues to maintain productivity.
Provide regular updates to Local Operations Manager and leadership on status, risks, and KPIs.
Attend daily operations meetings to report on progress and needs.
Estimate and track volume of materials ready for shipment to the main location.
Collaborate with offsite crews to set daily goals and ensure timely targets.
