Locumly is a next-generation locum tenens company under construction since early 2025 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of TEEMA Group. We’ve completed Phase I of our build by launching our recruitment infrastructure and developing a deep pipeline of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to prime market demand.
With the locum tenens total addressable market (TAM) exceeding $9 billion, and the APP segment alone representing ~$900 million, Locumly is entering the space with focus, precision, and purpose. We’re seeking experienced, high‑EQ Business Development Executives (BDEs) who are energized by the hunt, motivated by growth, and inspired by the opportunity to have their fingerprints on an early‑stage build that’s redefining how locum tenens staffing gets done.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving new client acquisition, cultivating long‑term relationships across the full healthcare delivery ecosystem, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue.
This role partners with leaders and decision‑makers across hospitals, health systems, outpatient centers, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), urgent care networks, and other care delivery organizations to understand their staffing challenges and operational goals. Through consultative dialogue, the BDE will identify gaps, design solutions that create measurable value, and champion Locumly’s mission to modernize and humanize the locum tenens experience for every corner of care - from large systems to community‑based practices.

Responsibilities:
- Generate and close new business by identifying decision‑makers, uncovering needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Own the client relationship lifecycle, from introduction through contract execution, onboarding, and ongoing account management.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with recruiting, credentialing, scheduling, and compliance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high satisfaction.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the locum tenens and APP space.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements that ensure mutual value and long‑term partnership.
- Represent Locumly and TEEMA with professionalism, integrity, and purpose in every client interaction.
- Continuously refine your approach — leveraging data, feedback, and technology to improve efficiency and conversion.
Qualifications:
- 2–4+ years of proven success in business development or B2B sales, preferably within healthcare, locums staffing, or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex decision‑making environments and close multi‑stakeholder deals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort engaging with C‑suite executives.
- Organized, self‑driven, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools. Inclusive of automations and AI tools.
