Job description

Summary

Directs and coordinates all components for the development of new business, including collaboration across various functional areas such as underwriting, marketing, claims, information systems, and operations. Evaluates marketing strategies and plans to adapt to changing market and competitive conditions. Develops and recommends sales strategies, marketing plans, and necessary adjustments to meet organizational goals.

Description

Location: This is a remote position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What You Will Do:
  1. Identify and qualify new business opportunities and partnerships to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
  2. Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies and plans.
  3. Monitor market trends and competitor strategies; research and analyze product and service value to align with market conditions.
  4. Lead, guide, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service; monitor department performance and productivity; develop policies and procedures; communicate updates; ensure quality standards; and identify training needs.
To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need The Following:
  1. Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
  2. Degree Equivalency: 4 years of relevant work experience or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience (Note: Bachelor's degree is mandatory for the Celerian Group).
  3. Work Experience: At least 8 years in business and/or product development, marketing, or sales within the insurance or healthcare industry; 3 years of management or supervisory experience or equivalent military service at grade E4 or above.
  4. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of marketing and sales principles, ability to manage multiple priorities, understanding of marketplace practices, analytical and presentation skills, independent work capability, and leadership qualities.
  5. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
