1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing emergency plumbing start-up that operates as a franchise to serve commercial and residential properties. We seek a Business Development Director to guide growth across the Connecticut market and drive profitability through new business development, referrals, and expanding our local presence.

The role focuses on developing relationships, pursuing service opportunities, and managing the sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
• Previous experience in plumbing, HVAC, restoration, construction, or home services is preferred.
• Existing relationships with property managers, contractors, and commercial clients are a plus.
• Demonstrates a successful track record of generating new business and managing a sales pipeline.
• Possesses strong interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with property managers, restoration firms, contractors, and commercial clients.
• Identify and develop new plumbing service opportunities while cultivating long-term customer relationships.
• Create and expand referral partnerships with local businesses and industry professionals.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for ongoing service agreements and larger-scale plumbing projects.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, including proposals, client follow-ups, and ongoing account development.
• Work closely with operations to ensure customer expectations and service commitments are consistently met.
• Achieve monthly revenue goals and business development objectives.
