AGC Partners in New York is seeking a Business Development Associate to identify growth-stage companies and source potential clients while supporting research initiatives that drive marketing efforts.
You will collaborate with senior bankers to create sector overviews, market maps, and targeted content, coordinating outreach to CEOs and maintaining CRM data to maximize engagement and deal flow.
Position: Business Development Associate
Location: New York
Start: Immediate
AGC Partners is a global technology investment bank advising emerging growth companies on middle-market M&A and growth equity financings, with transactions ranging from $50 million to $1 billion. We have closed more than 525 deals since inception, over 70 since 2022, and more SaaS transactions than any other bank since 2010, making AGC one of the most active technology banks in the world.
This position is a mix of business development and research. On the business development side, you will be responsible for identifying growth-stage companies, as well as researching and identifying key trends within the emerging technology market place in order to actively source potential clients for AGC. Along with managing and maintaining AGC's Partner pipelines and reporting directly to the CEO, the BDA will also assist in creating and launching bi-weekly sector and sub-sector overviews within the greater technology market that have been identified as areas of high growth.
On the research side, you will oversee all content initiatives to drive the firm's marketing efforts, as well as work collaboratively with the banking team to drive new leads and engagement with current clients. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about technology, up-to-date on industry news and the latest M&A transactions. With the help of the Partners at AGC, who are domain experts with deep sector knowledge, you will create in-depth reports on the hottest new technologies to be distributed to thousands of executives and investors across their respective industries. These reports cover the key trends and challenges in the market and include a listing of recent M&A, private placement, and IPO activity.
