AGC Partners in New York is seeking a Business Development Associate to identify growth-stage companies and source potential clients while supporting research initiatives that drive marketing efforts.

You will collaborate with senior bankers to create sector overviews, market maps, and targeted content, coordinating outreach to CEOs and maintaining CRM data to maximize engagement and deal flow.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a strong academic record.
• Passion for technology and a close eye on industry news and the latest M&A activity.
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Generate leads by utilizing direct marketing strategies to our extensive existing database, as well as research to find new opportunities.
• Conduct deep dives into top PE and VC portfolios to identify sell- and buy-side opportunities for AGC.
• Build sector and sub-sector overviews including: market overview, market map, past transactions, and potential targets.
• Coordinate launches to relevant CEOs using a tailored cadence for maximum exposure.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities in CRM database (Salesforce).
• Writer, editor and content strategist; possess best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
• Develop and maintain standards, systems, templates and best practices to keep content cutting-edge.
• Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics with the help of the Partner to articulate the thesis of the report, and find third-party research to support it.
• Create Transaction Screens and find Transaction Comps to highlight activity within the sector/space.
• Build Market Maps and Technology Landscapes across sectors and sub-verticals of technology.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment with urgency and initiative.
• Lead conversations and prepare presentations and marketing materials.
• Be a motivated, tenacious self-starter with a passion for sales and overcoming objectives.
