Job summary

Arcadia Capital in Miami is seeking an ambitious, entry-level business development analyst to help source and qualify technology investment banking mandates. You will learn our outreach system and support senior bankers with market research and pitch preparation.

Qualifications

About the Role

Business development is the engine of our firm. Every mandate we win starts with the work this seat supports: identifying the right companies, researching them, and getting our senior bankers in the room.

This is an entry-level role. No banking experience is required. We will train you on our full business development system, which we have spent years building and consider a core competitive advantage. What we cannot train is motivation. We are looking for someone hungry, competitive, and relentless about details, who wants to earn a long-term seat in technology investment banking.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data and generate clear insights.
• Experience conducting market research and industry analysis, ideally within technology, software, or financial services.
• Knowledge of finance concepts and comfort with transaction-related materials, financial metrics, and valuation basics.
• Ability to create and deliver professional presentations, including pitch decks and client-facing materials.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and external client interactions.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or pipeline management tools; experience with artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; relevant internships or experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate development preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
• Demonstrated interest in the technology and software ecosystem and willingness to learn continuously.
