Job summary

Trustmark National Bank in Jackson, MS seeks a flexible Business Banking Assistant I/II to support two Relationship Managers with loans, deposits, investments, trusts, and insurance products. You will assist in loan closings and portfolio coordination.

Level II adds advanced loan documentation, comprehensive portfolio management, and adherence to compliance; you will coordinate reviews, renewals, modifications, and escalations while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of banking experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficient with Word and Excel; familiarity with bank systems desirable.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the department, including phones, calendars, and expense reports.
Assemble loan applications, verify documents, and coordinate closings.
Assist Relationship Managers with portfolio management and compliance tasks.
Deliver excellent service to clients and internal staff.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
