Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of face-to-face customer service or retail sales experience.
• NMLS registration within 2 years of employment.
• Able to learn Trustmark consumer and mortgage lending guidelines.
• Able to balance and manage a cash drawer.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions including night drop, deposits, money orders, and cash drawers.
• Handle cash shipments and vault management for a branch.
• Originate consumer loans and identify customer needs for referrals.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposits, loans, insurance, and cash management services.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Trustmark standards.
• Safeguard assets and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Balance cash drawers daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly through proactive outreach.
• Travel between branch locations as required.
