Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent education or training.
• Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of banking, lending, loan operations, or financial services experience preferred.
• Experience supporting commercial, consumer, or mortgage lending activities strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and banking procedures preferred.
• Critical thinking and using logic and reasoning to complete loan paperwork.
• Knowledge of lending processes and loan documentation preferred.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and operate loan origination and core banking systems.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loan origination, document preparation, and file maintenance.
• Coordinate loan closing and monitor outstanding requirements or exceptions.
• Provide administrative and customer service support to Loan Officers and lending team.
• Maintain compliant loan files and protect confidentiality.
• Respond to customer inquiries and communicate loan status.
