Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking a Business Banker I in Marlton, NJ to develop and manage client accounts within the Business Banking Division. You will grow loan, deposit and related business while ensuring profitability and minimizing risk.

You will build relationships with COIs, cross-sell products, and collaborate across bank lines to meet client goals and maintain high service levels for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bank lending sales experience.
• 1 year of credit analysis experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the bank in generating new loan, deposit and related business for the line of business.
• Manages relationships with business banking clients and ensures needs are met.
• Establishes strong referral network with COIs such as commercial real estate agents and attorneys.
• Cross-sells products and services to grow client relationships and profitability.
• Supports collaboration with other bank lines to meet client needs.
• Interviews loan applicants, analyzes data, and negotiates terms.
• Monitors loan performance and ensures compliance with bank policies.
