Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of sales experience; 8+ years managing business banking or commercial relationships preferred.
• Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience required.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business and provide a positive client experience.
• Strong business acumen, to include detailed analysis of financial statements and knowledge of accounting principles.
• Thorough knowledge of Commercial & Treasury Management services and financing options.
• Ability to assess client needs, profitability drivers, and lifecycle optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualified client prospects in defined segment using referrals and centers of influence.
• Collaborate with product partners to tailor a relationship strategy for each client or prospect.
• Cross-sell applicable Fifth Third products and services to business customers and their owners.
• Plan and conduct relationship strategy and reviews with product partners.
• Coordinate all client-facing activities including credit support and other product partners.
• Utilize CRM for client activity tracking, call reports and pipeline management.
• Support credit requests with Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers.
