Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Analyst (Credit) based in Glendale, CA to join the team.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers to analyze clients, qualify deals, and structure loans while delivering exceptional client service. The role emphasizes credit acumen, collaboration, and end-to-end deal execution, including onboarding, documentation, and portfolio management to strengthen client relationships and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully capitalizing on all opportunities to deepen the relationship.
• Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure.
• Demonstrated understanding of advanced financial accounting and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Relationship Managers on client discovery, deal qualification, and loan structuring.
• Provide thoughtful financial analysis and support pricing decisions while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
• Actively manage deal activity and pipeline progression, identifying obstacles early and helping the team find solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, financial needs, and overall relationship opportunity.
• Take ownership of gathering, reviewing, and organizing required client and credit documentation.
• Assist with deal summaries, credit requests, product solutions, and execution activities.
• Coordinate appraisal, documentation, closing, and onboarding activities to keep deals moving.
• Communicate proactively with Relationship Managers and internal partners so everyone understands where an opportunity stands and what needs to happen next.
• Help create a seamless, responsive experience that reinforces the value of the relationship from the beginning.
• Support ongoing portfolio management, including loan renewals, pricing updates, financial analysis, covenant tracking, and risk monitoring.
