Responsibilities

Job description

  • Ability to steer requirements, seek buy-in, taking perspectives of multiple stakeholders into account to come to common ground and drive consensus on requirements.
  • Ability to visualize and create solutions that meet business ask, create initial prototypes/proof of concept.
  • Ability to work with high-level articulation of requirements to drive detailed solutioning, for different types of engagement (be it proactive pitch to payer business teams, align business goals with IT side of the house, lead internal IT teams, track requirements in product backlog, specify user stories, acceptance/functional testing, evangelizing solutions, seeking stakeholder buy-ins.
  • Hands-on healthcare payer experience for 10+ years
  • Healthcare claims knowledge, hands-on experience with claims engines, product & benefits, claim processing. Broad-based understanding of various payer functions such as sales and marketing, healthcare product management, membership, providers, prior authorizations and utilization management, claims, program integrity etc. Aware of lines of business such as Medicare, Medicaid, CMS guidelines, overall healthcare industry trends.
  • Past Product Owner experience to manage product backlog, write user stories/use cases as per expectation, plan for program increments/sprints.

  1. Ability to articulate point of view (POV) on variety of topics of relevance to client's business, awareness of regulatory changes, industry drivers to develop contextual POVs, articles, blogs
  2. Collaborates with the data scientists, AI Architects, technical team to ensure rapid solution / POC development
  3. Ability to write detailed use cases on requirements with minimal inputs/dependency
  4. Support account teams on driving innovation by providing relevant examples of technology application based on customer’s needs, their AI maturity, current ask, audience role etc.
  5. Stays abreast with industry specific trends e.g., interoperability (FHIR, HL7, EDI), cost of care imperatives, value-based care etc. Continually learns business model changes and factors affecting industry.
  6. Ability to apply new technology e.g., AI, Generative AI to real business problems
  7. Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystem, value chains, value exchange between entities
  8. Ability to quickly grasp domain adjacencies e.g., pharmacy dispensing business, PBM business etc.
  9. Ability to identify inventive aspect of solutions and file patents, copyrights, tr ademarks

Salary Range $140,000-$160,000 years
