Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Jersey City seeks an experienced data platform specialist to modernize data architecture for P&C insurance, designing scalable pipelines and translating business needs into robust data solutions while collaborating with underwriting, actuarial, claims and IT teams.

Must have hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, Snowflake), ETL/ELT, data warehousing and modeling; familiarity with Guidewire and Duck Creek; strong Gen AI in SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture for P&C insurance.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and IT teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Evaluate tools/technologies, run proofs of concept, and propose options.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Define data integration strategies across internal systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek) and third-party data providers (ISO, LexisNexis).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Drive AI adoption within the technical team and identify use cases for data/AI features.
