Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Analyst to join the NY Shared Services team. You will gather requirements, map processes, and translate needs into actionable specifications while partnering with operations and technology to deliver system enhancements.

In this role, you’ll support multiple New York programs, with a focus on improving Salesforce-driven workflows and ensuring successful QA, testing, and release readiness. This position emphasizes collaboration and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and workflows.
• Proven experience supporting system enhancements and process improvements.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and enterprise applications, plus UAT/testing.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and process documentation.
• Partner with operations, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support Salesforce and other enterprise applications through requirements gathering, testing, and solution validation.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release readiness activities.
• Investigate system issues and support production problem resolution.
• Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, and other project documentation.
