Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA-PM) with strong SAP expertise in Charlotte, NC. The role leads SAP projects across planning, deployment, and post-production support, bridging business and technical teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

  • BA/PM or BA-PM with SAP experience.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, or SuccessFactors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Experience managing SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with risk management, issue resolution, and project governance.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA-PM) with strong SAP expertise to lead business transformation initiatives, manage project delivery, and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process optimization while driving projects through the complete lifecycle.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Lead SAP projects and initiatives from planning through execution, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, training, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or BA-PM.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, or SuccessFactors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Understanding of data migration, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, banking, or enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of change management and organizational transformation programs.
  • Relevant SAP and Project Management certifications preferred.
