Job summary

Synechron in Atlanta seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive end-to-end technology and digital transformation initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams, facilitate architecture discussions, and coordinate with senior leadership to deliver on time and within budget.

Our challenge We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving complex technology initiatives, facilitating technical discussions, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, architecture concepts, and modern technology stacks, along with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership, business stakeholders, clients, architects, and engineering teams.

Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Atlanta, GA is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for technology and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive technical discussions with architects, developers, business analysts, and leadership teams.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into technical workstreams and actionable project plans.
  • Facilitate project planning, sprint ceremonies, status meetings, and architecture reviews.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and delivery milestones.
  • Drive decision-making by balancing business objectives, technical constraints, and project timelines.
  • Monitor project metrics, resource utilization, and budget considerations.
  • Ensure delivery follows SDLC, Agile, and project governance standards.
  • Foster collaboration between business and technical teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management with a strong technical background.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale application development and technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to understand system architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience leading technical conversations with development teams and solution architects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and executive management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
