Join GCG as a Business Analyst & Product Specialist
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to help shape the future of Exposi – our custom-built occupational hygiene software. You’ll be joining us as we launch Exposi after years of development.
This is a great opportunity to work on a truly unique product in the health and safety space, contribute to something industry-leading, and be part of a company that’s passionate about keeping people safe through innovation.
About Us
At GCG, we’re passionate about workplace health and safety. We provide expert consulting services across industries like mining, aerospace, construction, energy, and government and have done for the last 20 years.
Our mission? Helping clients keep their people safe.
We’re also the proud creators of Exposi – innovative software built to streamline occupational hygiene data and decision-making. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking someone who can drive Exposi forward with initiative, critical thinking, and a collaborative spirit.
About Exposi
Exposi is GCG’s flagship software product—a cutting-edge occupational hygiene platform that has been developed over the past five years. Recognising a significant gap in the market, we leveraged our expertise in occupational hygiene to create a solution that addresses the complexities of exposure monitoring.
Exposi is the first of its kind.
What makes Exposi different is how it encapsulates the entire hygiene management process into one application. It helps organisations quickly spot any harmful exposures, respond faster with the right controls, and build a strong database of what works to keep people safe.
Even in its pre-release phase, Exposi has generated strong interest from industry leaders across sectors like mining, construction, and manufacturing. Its potential to transform exposure monitoring practices is already clear, with many recognising the value it could bring in making faster, smarter decisions to protect worker health and safety.
Why You'll Love Working With Us:
Competitive salary – because we value your experience.
Birthday leave – take a day to celebrate you!
Free on-site parking – no more morning scramble.
Supportive team – innovation and collaboration are at our core.
Health & Wellbeing programs – including EAP for mental health support.
About the Role
As our Business Analyst & Product Specialist, you’ll bridge the gap between technical teams, subject matter experts, and clients to ensure Exposi continues to deliver real value. You’ll be responsible for the software roadmap, gather and analyse requirements, and work closely with development teams to bring new features to life.
This is a hands-on, office-based role – perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment with access to world leading domain experts.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Requirements Management
Gather and analyse requirements from internal teams and clients.
Translate business needs into detailed specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate scrums and collaborate with developers to implement and refine features.

Prioritise features based on impact, feasibility, and user feedback.
Ensure efficient implementation of enhancements with development teams.

About You
You’re an established Business Analyst, looking to step up and take on more responsibilities unique to a product specialist. You’re curious, switched-on, and not afraid to ask questions. You enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and turning ideas into outcomes. You're confident working with both technical teams and stakeholders, and you’re someone who enjoys collaborating to get things done.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Specialist, or in a similar software role (ideally SaaS).
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and writing user stories.
A proactive and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Agile methodology experience and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
