Description

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our E-Premium Product Specialist position for our Southern Branch Operations group located remotely. The Divisional E-Premium Specialist will lead the sales initiative of Residential Unitary Inverter Products and serve as the individual to manage and coordinate engagement and accomplishment of the division sales objectives with Company Owned Distribution (COD) & Distributor Channel Partners. The Divisional E-Premium Product Specialist will be the Division resource for supporting the product line and growing sales.

Position Responsibilities May Include
  • Coordinate engagement and achievement of division sales objectives with COD & Distributor Channel Partners, focusing on all residential brands utilizing inverter technology.
  • Achieve Division Sales Targets for Side-Discharge Products of all residential brands.
  • Act as Division Product Champion to develop COD & IND product sales opportunities and support product teams, working closely with the product applications resource.
  • Oversee and meet division objectives for specific programs like VRV Pro.
  • Provide resources and promotional support to engage TSMs in selling focused products.
  • Serve as a sales and training resource to COD, IND channels (excluding REPs).
  • Drive key objectives across brand strategies such as Side-Discharge sales, Daikin Cloud Services, R32 product launch, and Cold Climate Heat Pump initiatives.
  • Act as Daikin Comfort Pro Loyalty Champion and subject matter expert to promote partnerships with premium contractors.
  • Manage reporting and dissemination of core data related to e-Premium objectives.
  • Deep knowledge of VRV and VRV Life Products to promote growth through various channels.
Nature & Scope
  • Understand business, financials, products/services, market, and account needs; recognized as an expert.
  • Work with large, important, or global accounts.
  • Set and negotiate product/service terms with full authority.
  • Plan account management approaches and manage resources.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and negotiation skills.
  • Develop effective communication materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Industry knowledge and strong work ethics.
Experience & Education
  • Minimum 10 years related experience, prior HVAC industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Additional Details
  • No people management responsibilities.
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without accommodations.
  • Reports to Business Development Director.
