Our client is seeking a seasoned JD Edwards Business Analyst to support and enhance their enterprise systems. This role focuses on gathering business requirements, configuring ERP solutions (JD Edwards 9.2), and collaborating across departments to drive system improvements. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving capabilities, and hands-on experience with ERP modules and tools.

Location: Houston, TX - 3 days onsite - hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business needs and define system specifications, translating them into cost-effective technical solutions.
Configure, implement, and support JD Edwards modules (Distribution, WMS, MDM, Inventory Management, DSI).
Design, test, and deploy system enhancements including SQL scripting, orchestrations, BSSVs, and UDOs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as liaison between users, developers, and management.
Provide training, documentation, and support to ensure user adoption and system efficiency.

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards, preferably version 9.2.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong expertise in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) and experience across full SDLC.
Prior implementation experience with core JD Edwards modules and familiarity with Service Pro is a plus.
Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills across all organizational levels.
