Job summary

Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Missouri to bridge business needs with analytics, reporting, and digital solutions. You will partner with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and translate requirements for development teams.

You will support QA, UAT, and value realization, while mentoring colleagues and driving process improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of BA experience supporting technology, analytics, or digital transformation.
• Experience gathering and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Ability to analyze data, processes, and complex operational challenges.
• Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements for tech teams.
• Knowledge of BA methodologies, requirements management, and process improvement.
• Experience in Agile environments with scrum teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and document moderate to complex business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to refine requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical requirements for design and development.
• Create process maps, workflows, and business process documentation.
• Represent BA within Agile delivery teams and collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Support QA activities, UAT, and validation of delivered solutions.
• Track activities, risks, dependencies, and provide regular status updates.
• Evaluate processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and value.
• Help measure and report business outcomes and realized value.
• Develop presentations and communications for technical and business audiences.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Senior Business Analystto join our team

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to support the development and implementation of analytics, reporting, automation, and digital solutions. Partner with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document moderate to complex business requirements. Facilitate workshops, interviews, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder meetings to gather and refine requirements. Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements that support solution design and development efforts. Create and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation. Serve as the primary business analyst representative within Agile delivery teams and collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and project stakeholders. Support quality assurance activities, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutions. Track project activities, action items, risks, and dependencies while providing regular status updates to stakeholders. Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements that drive operational efficiency and business value. Assist with measuring and reporting business outcomes and realized value resulting from implemented solutions. Develop presentations, communications, and supporting documentation for technical and business audiences. Mentor less experienced team members and share best practices in business analysis and requirements management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting technology, analytics, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Strong ability to analyze organizational data, business processes, and complex operational challenges.
• Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, and process improvement practices.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments and collaborating with scrum teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data-driven initiatives.
• Advanced meeting facilitation, workshop leadership, and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations and communications materials.
• Knowledge of process modeling methodologies and business process management principles.Experience performing root cause analysis, gap analysis, performance analysis, benchmarking, or audit-related activities.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or serving as a lead analyst on project teams.
