Job summary

Associa, a leader in property management solutions, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and software development teams. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure alignment across design, development, and delivery of technology solutions.

You will elicit, analyze, document requirements, and collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners throughout the SDLC to validate intent and manage changes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Elicit, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
• Ensure stakeholder goals, constraints, and priorities are clearly understood and translated into functional requirements and user stories.
• Partner with developers, architects, and product owners throughout the SDLC to validate intent and manage changes.
• Facilitate alignment between business expectations and technical solutions, helping stakeholders understand tradeoffs.
• Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities that support business objectives.
• Create and maintain process flows, models, and documentation to support development and decision-making.
• Support testing, user acceptance, and release activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly across business and technology teams.

The primary focus of this role is to understand business needs, translate them into clear and actionable requirements, and ensure those needs are accurately reflected throughout the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions. While improving business processes is an important outcome, success in this role is driven by strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and effective collaboration with engineering teams.
