Job summary

IPI Technolab is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead cross-functional initiatives and translate business needs into actionable solutions.

You will gather requirements, map processes, drive digital transformation, mentor analysts, and collaborate with product, IT and senior stakeholders to improve efficiency, data-driven decision making, and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business Analytics, Strategy, or Administration preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or related roles.
• Experience leading business analysts or managing cross-functional teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BRD/FRD documentation, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Jira, Confluence, and BPMN tools.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee business process mapping, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead and mentor business analysts, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, IT teams, developers, and senior stakeholders to implement business solutions.
• Analyze business data, KPIs, and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including validation, testing, and implementation.
• Drive digital transformation, workflow automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Identify business risks, evaluate solutions, and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Manage stakeholder communication, project priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business Analytics, Strategy, or Business Administration preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, business process improvement, or related roles.
• Previous experience leading business analysts or managing cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, BRD/FRD documentation, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Jira, Confluence, and business process modelling tools.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions and measurable business outcomes.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
