Job summary
Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to analyze business problems, translate requirements into solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will document processes, maintain traceability, and contribute to Agile development with strong stakeholder communication.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and at least 4 years in IT BA, with experience in SAP, HANA, and Workday interfaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 4 years of IT BA experience in an Information Technology environment.
- Proficient with system/app design and end user support.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor others.
- Experience in interfacing Workday and SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business problems and recommend improvements and/or solutions.
- Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple domains.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs and deliverables.
- Document and maintain IT process documentation and traceability.
- Collaborate with analysts and scrum teams to ensure consistency in processes and documentation.
- Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
