Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College seeks a Business Analyst I to help formulate scope and objectives by understanding user needs, business systems, and industry requirements. You will work with software development teams, analyze requirements, document processes, and coordinate tests to improve software applications and data visualizations for informed decisions.

The role supports websites, CRMs, LMS, and IT systems, providing data-driven insights and technical solutions; experience with LMS

Qualifications

Supports data analyses and ad-hoc reporting using research and query tools.
Begins to learn to develop reports and dashboards using SQL, SAS, or other tools.

Responsibilities

Assists with developing/modifying procedures to solve complex business problems considering system capacity and limitations.
Collaborates with IT staff to understand requirements in creating, upgrading, and maintaining programs, databases, and reports.
Generates and maintains a standard set of reports that provide insight into operational statistics and trends.
Prepares data and data visualizations to inform business decisions.
Performs testing of systems and data integrity to ensure proper functioning of systems.
