Job summary

CNM Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a Business Analyst I to define scope, analyze requirements, and support software applications. You will work with development teams, document processes, and create data visualizations to inform decisions.

Responsibilities include testing systems, producing reports, and assisting in data stewardship across applications such as Websites, CRMs, and LMS platforms. A related degree and minimal experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience or PMI PBA certification or a combination of education and experience.
• Two years of experience with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and LMS platforms.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing/modifying procedures to solve complex business problems considering system capabilities.
• Document requirements, user stories, use cases, and business processes with stakeholders.
• Provide data analyses and ad-hoc reporting using SQL, SAS, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with IT staff to design, upgrade, and maintain programs, databases, and reports.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate operational metrics and trends.
