Job summary

Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in Olympia, Washington is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to shape technology and processes for internal applications. You will uncover system needs, translate them into clear business requirements, and improve through analysis and User Acceptance Testing.

You'll collaborate with Court Services staff, AOC partners, agencies, and vendors to influence system design, configuration and testing across statewide operations.

Qualifications

• Eight years IT experience with at least three years as a business analyst.
• Associate degree plus six years IT experience with BA tasks.
• Bachelor's degree plus four years IT experience with BA tasks.
• Master's degree plus one year BA experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead requirements management for complex solutions.
• Elicit business requirements from internal and external SMEs.
• Liaise between stakeholders and technical personnel to define needs.
• Translate requirements into user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain requirements documentation.
• Maintain requirements traceability matrices for reuse.
• Analyze requirements for completeness and testability.
• Review test results against accepted criteria.
• Conduct intensive systems analysis for new or enhanced applications.
