Job summary

Administrative Office of the Courts in Olympia, Washington is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Court Services Division and the statewide Case Management replacement project. You will work with business and technical experts to translate needs into clear requirements and tests.

Under the guidance of a Court Business Supervisor, you will engage stakeholders, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and help design solutions that improve court operations statewide.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, information systems or related field with one year of BA experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus four years IT experience including BA work.
• Associate’s degree plus six years IT experience including BA work.
• Eight years IT experience with three years BA experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead requirements management for complex solutions.
• Elicit business requirements from internal and external subject matter experts.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Translate requirements into user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain requirements documentation.
• Maintain requirements traceability matrices for requirement management.
• Analyze requirements for completeness and testability.
• Review test results to confirm acceptance criteria.
• Provide consultation to project stakeholders.
• Conduct intensive systems analysis for new or enhancements for applications.
• Perform other duties as required.
