Qualifications

Responsibilities

The role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, API integration, data flow modeling, and enterprise application development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business partners, end users, developers, and project teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions.
• Develop use cases, user stories, process flows, screen designs, and requirements documentation.
• Define API service requirements, including incoming request formats and outgoing response structures.
• Collaborate with API developers to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain data flow diagrams illustrating data movement, transformations, and storage across systems.
• Develop user stories and maintain project requirements using Jira.
• Create workflow charts, process diagrams, and screen designs using Lucidchart.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, solution design, and user acceptance testing.
• Support project milestones, timelines, and coordination across technical and business teams.
• Develop user guides, process documentation, training materials, and change management documentation.
• Explain complex technical and data flow concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience working on diverse data integration projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Advanced knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, business modeling, and use case design.
• Strong understanding of information systems and software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience defining API service calls, request formats, and response structures.
• Experience collaborating with API developers to define and validate API requirements.
• Strong experience creating data flow diagrams and explaining complex data flows.
• Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with state or local government, particularly the Georgia Criminal Justice System.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience using Lucidchart and Jira.
• PMP certification or ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise application development or modernization projects.
