We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology leadership. You will support healthcare data, reporting, and technology initiatives.
This position will serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams. You will gather stakeholder goals, translate those needs into clear functional and technical requirements, and confirm development teams have the information needed to execute successfully.
You not need to be a developer, but should be technically comfortable, analytical, curious, and able to connect the dots across requirements, business needs, and multiple systems.
- Location: 3-4 days onsite in Dallas, 1-2 days remote
- Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, workflows, and technology needs.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, requirements, and supporting documentation within an Agile environment.
- Work within Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, stories, sprint-related activities, and documentation.
- Work closely with the Technical Project/Product Manager and Data Engineering team to support project execution.
- Participate discovery sessions, sprint activities, and requirements discussions.
- Analyze data to investigate business questions, identify issues, validate requirements, and support decision-making.
- Use tools such as SQL and Excel to query, extract, manipulate, and analyze data when appropriate.
- Support initiatives involving reporting, dashboards, data platforms, integrations, and outbound data files.
- Identify relationships and dependencies across projects and requirements rather than evaluating individual requests in isolation.
- Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, or unanswered questions and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Develop strong institutional knowledge of the organization, its healthcare operations, systems, data, and business processes.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst within an IT, technology, data, or software environment.
- Experience working directly with both business and technical teams.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience creating user stories and working within Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or a comparable work management platform.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to understand how individual requirements fit into a larger system or business process.
- Comfortable working with data and performing analysis using Excel or similar tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas 3-4 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience. Specialty pharmacy experience is ideal.
- Experience with healthcare data, pharmacy operations, or healthcare technology.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Exposure to Power BI, reporting, analytics, data platforms, or data engineering environments.
- Familiarity with Azure environments.
