Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Business Analyst to translate product strategy into actionable requirements and drive Agile delivery of healthcare software. You will work with Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and business stakeholders to ensure the backlog is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with customer needs.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who can bridge business objectives and technical execution, write user stories and acceptance criteria,

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
  • Healthcare software, healthcare technology, or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering teams in a software product environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business priorities, customer needs, and product strategy.
  • Translate product strategy and business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain workflow documentation, process flows, and other supporting product documentation.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to clarify requirements and ensure stories are ready for development.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Success, Product, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, refinement meetings, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks.
  • Support Engineering throughout the development lifecycle by answering questions and providing clarification on requirements.
  • Participate in testing and validation to ensure delivered functionality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Help ensure software solutions address real-world healthcare workflows and customer needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, documentation, and Agile delivery practices.
