Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Pleasanton, CA, supporting IT Hygiene, compliance reporting, governance, and process maturity within a retail technology environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented IT professional who enjoys working across technology teams, business stakeholders, Scrum Masters, Technical Program Managers, and Business Analysts to improve operational visibility and compliance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize sustainable reporting mechanisms to measure IT Hygiene adoption, maturity, compliance, and value realization.
- Partner with IT leaders, initiative owners, and business stakeholders to evaluate adherence to policies, standards, metrics, and governance expectations.
- Serve as a process-focused subject matter expert using Jira and ServiceNow to support workflow consistency, oversight, and process compliance.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-compliance issues, negative trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the definition, implementation, and maturation of operating models that promote consistent process adoption across teams.
- Provide insights and reporting to IT Hygiene leadership to support corrective action, governance decisions, and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Pleasanton, CA.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule requiring onsite work in the 2F office three days per week.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Develop compliance reporting and operational dashboards for IT Hygiene initiatives.
- Assess process adherence, governance compliance, and maturity across IT programs and teams.
- Support process oversight across Scrum Masters, TPMs, Business Analysts, and related stakeholders.
- Identify non-compliance trends, document findings, and support corrective action planning.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, compliance analysis, IT governance, IT project management, or process improvement.
- Strong expertise in Jira is required.
- ServiceNow experience is required.
- Experience acting as a Process SME in an IT, technology operations, or enterprise governance environment.
- Ability to define, implement, and mature operating models, workflows, process standards, and governance practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data, trends, and compliance findings into clear business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT and business leadership teams.
- Comfortable working onsite in Pleasanton three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT Hygiene, IT compliance, IT governance, risk management, or technology operations initiatives.
- Experience in a retail technology environment.
- Prior experience working with Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Technical Program Managers, and Business Analysts.
- Experience creating reporting frameworks, maturity models, KPI tracking, or compliance scorecards.
- Strong documentation skills and experience supporting enterprise process improvement initiatives.
