Remote Jobs seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to document as-is processes, elicit requirements, and reengineer business workflows. The role emphasizes ServiceNow Idea/Project/Demand modules, demand management, and coordination with stakeholders across IT and business areas.

This remote position will include on-site Middletown, PA if required. The candidate will drive project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting while building strong partnerships with sponsors, vendors, and clients to deliver value

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of expertise within the Business Analyst environment on projects of various size and subject matter.
• Experience in business process analysis.
• ServiceNow experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
• Experience in demand management.
• Project schedule and budget estimation.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to document as-is process flows.
• Elicit requirements or information to reengineer business processes.
• Review current processes against best practices to identify necessary changes.
• Suggest opportunities for future state improvements to process owners and SMEs.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to project needs.
• Coordinate with owners and analysts to define scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform project management duties for planning and requirements phases.
• Develop productive relationships with technology staff, owners, sponsors, vendors, and clients.
• Complete projects per PMO guidelines.
• Coordinate IT demand intake, review, and evaluation with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Support IT demand prioritization and portfolio management activities.

Description of Duties

Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to document as-is process flows.

• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to elicit requirements or other pertinent information required to reengineer business processes.
• Conduct reviews and comparisons of current business processes with the best practices to determine where business processes or system changes are necessary.
• Anticipate the direction of business areas and recommend new processes or opportunities to business process owners and subject matter experts that will support their future state.
• Apply exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Coordinate with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform project management duties for the planning and requirement gathering phases of projects.
• Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Complete projects consistent with PMO guidelines.
• Coordinate the intake, review, and evaluation of IT demands, collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams to define business needs, scope, expected benefits, and preliminary cost estimates.
• Support IT demand prioritization, annual planning, and portfolio management activities by evaluating proposed initiatives, aligning demands with organizational priorities, and preparing demands for funding consideration and project initiation.

Desired Skillset

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of expertise within the Business Analyst environment on projects of various size and subject matter.

The work location will be virtual/remote until further notice. When required to be onsite, the work location will be in Middletown, PA.
