Job summary

Visionet Systems Inc. in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and work closely with developers and IT teams to drive effective solutions.

You will perform data analysis with Excel and SQL, support UAT, maintain project documentation, monitor processes for improvements, and coordinate with project managers and end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, business admin or related field.
• 2+ years in requirements gathering, BRD/FRS, gap analysis.
• Excel, SQL, Power BI data visualization tools.

• Process flows, UML diagrams, backlog management.
• Experience in QA/related roles or as QA engineer.

Responsibilities

Business Analyst with the following duties:

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and department teams.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.

Work closely with software developers and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Perform data analysis and generate reports using tools like Excel or SQL.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, developers, and end users during project implementation.

Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Assist in implementing digital solutions for improving departmental operations.

Requirements:

Educational requirements: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field

Skill set requirements: 2+ years in the following skill set:

• Requirement Gathering, BRD, FRS, Gap Analysis
• Excel, SQL, Data Visualization tools (Power BI)
• Jira, Confluence, MS Visio
• Agile, Scrum, SDLC
• Process Flows, UML Diagrams, Backlog Management
• 2+ years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of Quality Assurance Engineer, Principal QA Engineer or a related field.

The position is currently located in Cranbury, NJ but may require medium to long-term relocation to any other unanticipated locations in the US.

The position is 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
