Purdue University Fort Wayne is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Analyst in the Admissions department. The role serves as the liaison among Admissions, Enrollment Management, IT, Marketing, and Institutional Research to optimize admissions technology and enrollment goals.

The position requires a Bachelor's or an Associate with two years of experience in business analysis or related fields, strong accuracy, data interpretation, and ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Slate CRM and related systems.
• Configure forms, queries, datasets, portals, and workflows.
• Support application management, reader workflows, and processing activities.
• Assist with user access management and security protocols.
• Monitor CRM functionality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain documentation for configurations and processes.
• Gather and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze processes for automation and efficiency gains.
• Create workflow diagrams, BRDs, and functional specs.
• Evaluate system enhancements and technology solutions.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within Admissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne

We seek a full-time, on-site Business Analyst Admissions department. This position serves as a liaison between Admissions, Enrollment Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Institutional Research, and other campus stakeholders to ensure admissions technology effectively supports recruitment, applicant engagement, application processing, and enrollment goals. The annual salary for this position is $57,100.00 - $57,500.00, dependent upon experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration and maintenance of Slate CRM.
• Configure and maintain forms, queries, populations, datasets, portals, events, and communication workflows.
• Support application management, reader workflows, and admissions processing activities.
• Assist with user access management and system security protocols.
• Monitor CRM functionality and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations and processes.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from admissions and enrollment stakeholders.
• Analyze admissions business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Create workflow diagrams, process documentation, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
• Assist in evaluating system enhancements and technology solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Admissions Office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Higher Education Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. *Consideration will be given to those who possess an Associate Degree in a related field with two years of direct experience. *
• Two to Three years of experience in business analysis, admissions operations, enrollment management, information technology, or a related field.
• Must be able to demonstrate accuracy.
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions.
• Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Interpret data and identify meaningful trends.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• This position is M-F, 8am- 5pm; may include some evenings and weekends based on Admissions’ recruitment and event schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SQL and file sharing via SFTP(Share Files Transfer Protocol).
• Previous experience with Technolutions, Slate, Ellucian, Banner, and Cognos.
• Previous experience with external vendors such as Common Application, Parchment, and College Board.
• Experience working in higher education admissions or enrollment management.
