Job summary

There's Only One Place in Highland Heights, OH, is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and analyze business requirements with SMEs, learning interviewing and facilitation techniques to drive effective solutions. You will work with the architecture team on complex applications, deliver BA artifacts, support testing, and help develop business cases with stakeholders.

This role focuses on systems analysis and cross-functional collaboration for off-the-shelf solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or MIS, with interest in systems analysis.
• Knowledge of requirements gathering and analysis standards.
• Experience with system integrations and data modeling preferred.
• Ability to work with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with testing (unit, systems, UAT).

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from SMEs.
• Create BA deliverables using defined standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with subject matter experts (SMEs) learning a variety of interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Utilize defined requirements gathering and analysis standards to produce business analysis deliverables.
• Interact with technical architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide the development team with Business System subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.

• Develop business cases in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Business or MIS majors looking to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design and project management for off the shelf package solutions and application development projects.

• Has a working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.
