Job summary

Park Place Technologies seeks a motivated student or recent graduate for a Business Analyst role in Ohio. You will gather requirements with SMEs, create formal analysis deliverables, and support the development team with domain expertise throughout the lifecycle.

You will participate in testing and help develop business cases with stakeholders. The position involves working with system integrations and data modeling, contributing to off-the-shelf package solutions and applications.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have completed a degree in business, MIS, or a related field.
• Knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements with SMEs and learn interviewing/facilitation techniques.
• Produce business analysis deliverables using defined standards.
• Collaborate with the architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Support development lifecycle with domain expertise; participate in testing (unit, systems, UAT).
• Develop business cases with stakeholders.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

What you’ll be doing:

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with subject matter experts (SMEs) learning a variety of interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Utilize defined requirements gathering and analysis standards to produce business analysis deliverables.
• Interact with technical architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide the development team with Business System subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.

• Develop business cases in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Business or MIS majors looking to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design and project management for off the shelf package solutions and application development projects.

• Has a working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.
