Job summary

Service Express is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to work with SMEs to define requirements and deliver analysis artifacts. You will collaborate with the architecture team on complex applications and support the development lifecycle with SME expertise.

The role involves requirements gathering, data modeling, and involvement in testing and UAT activities to ensure business needs are met. An interest in systems analysis and project coordination will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Majors in Business or MIS who want to learn and contribute to systems analysis and project management.
• Experience or familiarity with requirements gathering and analysis standards preferred.
• Working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with SMEs.
• Produce business analysis deliverables using defined standards.
• Interact with the architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide SME expertise to the development team throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Develop business cases with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

What youll be doing:

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with subject matter experts (SMEs) learning a variety of interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Utilize defined requirements gathering and analysis standards to produce business analysis deliverables.
• Interact with technical architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide the development team with Business System subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Develop business cases in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Business or MIS majors looking to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design and project management for off the shelf package solutions and application development projects.
• Has a working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.
