You will help with development, production, talent, and rights agreements, maintain deal files, summaries, and deadlines while providing high-level admin support.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in legal/business affairs or admin support, a bachelor's degree, and familiarity with entertainment contracts.
We are seeking a Business Affairs Assistant Part-Time for a legal and entertainment business affairs opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports an independent studio environment and is ideal for someone with entertainment contract familiarity, legal acumen, strong administrative skills, and a genuine desire to learn the business affairs side of television and content production. This is a unique part-time opportunity to work closely with business affairs leadership on development agreements, production-related agreements, talent agreements, and rights acquisition agreements. The environment is collaborative, fast-moving, and highly professional, offering exposure to meaningful deal work while supporting a team that values discretion, accuracy, initiative, and a willingness to dig in. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, intellectually curious, and comfortable balancing administrative support with substantive legal and business affairs tasks.
