Job summary

Krise Transportation is hiring a Safety Coordinator to develop and implement professional workforce safety programs, oversee training for CDL positions, and manage investigations and audits across terminal levels.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining OSHA logs, and enforcing compliance with FMCSA, DOT, PUC and related regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of safety experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience; CDL endorsements required or achievable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs for staff with CDL requirements.
• Oversee and track safety training at all terminal levels.
• Conduct incident investigations and coordinate with risk/HR.
• Schedule and document audits, safety meetings, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log and incident files; preserve video records.
