Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas CDL (Class B or A with Passenger); school bus driving endorsement.
• Texas School Bus Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise school bus routes for Department of Transportation.
• Develop, modify and maintain routes per TEA rules and district needs.
• Prepare TEA State Reports related to transportation.
• Answer queries on bus eligibility and distribute schedules to schools.
• Coordinate and schedule state directed student counts for ridership.
• Assist Director with route planning and demographic analysis.
• Maintain routing system knowledge and adapt to growth.
